I’m visiting from Louisiana and my dining experience at Sweet E’s was exceptional!!! The food and service were awesome! Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Get there early because you’ll want a good parking space… don’t wait..you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to eating there again on my next trip to Hawaii.🥰

This spot was absolutely perfect for a breakfast just around the area—everything about it suited us perfectly. The atmosphere was really fun, and the guy taking names for the waitlist was super entertaining. We're visiting from Ohio, and we had such a great time!

My friend recommended we go here while we were visting. As we sat down, we were immediately greeted and asked what drinks we would like. As we looked over the menu, I glanced at the walls, noticing the faces of family. It gave a diner vibe, but more homey. I ordered the everyday breakfast and my boyfriend got the burrito. We also had to order a side of the blueberry filled french toast. I couldn't believe the amount of food was on the plate. As we ate one of the staff members talked with us about interacting with locals and how to stay respectful, as we had asked how to respond to certain phrases. They kept refilling our coffee as we ate, which was great for coffee lovers like us. The food was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend modified his burrito by swapping the hashbrowns for potatoes and WOW. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the potatoes because they had just enough seasoning for my taste and sometimes I really need to add more salt or pepper. As we got ready to leave, they asked if we wanted coffee to go, which is absolutely crazy because they already gave us so much. My boyfriend took the rest of his iced coffee to go and they offered to top it off if it didn't fill the cup. The staff was absolutely amazing and the food blew my mind. I definitely recommend stopping here.

I’ve lived in Oahu for a year, and this is the first restaurant where I finally found great service!!! Sweet E’s exceeded my expectations. I was happy they have a small parking lot available so I didn’t have to worry about paying or finding parking on the street. The food was exceptional and very well priced for being in downtown Oahu. I had the blueberry French toast and added fruit which was the best choice! I also had the breakfast burrito which was very flavorful. The waiters were a breath of fresh air. Kind, relatable, and very attentive. Water was always filled, brought me extra lemons and napkins so I didn’t need to ask for more. It’s like they were reading my mind before I needed to even say anything. Keep up the great work Sweet E’s! Your restaurant keeps the ALOHA spirit alive…. See ya next time :)

As tourists, Sweet E’s was a quick in and out breakfast spot where we fueled up after a sunrise hike or before a day of excursions—get there before 8 am to avoid a line. The servers roam between tables to ensure all guests have what they need instead of a single server checking on you infrequently. My coffee never got cold because every time a server saw room, they topped off my mug! I’m vegan and gluten free, so the only item on their menu I could eat was oatmeal, but they doctored it up with toppings like blueberries, honey, and peanut butter. And my husband had leftovers, which is a testament to the large portion sizes!
